Use Your Website to Get the Perfect Health Coaching Clients
Wouldn’t it be great if your website not only attracted ideal clients to you but also eliminated the people you don’t want to work with?
Imagine if people were already sold on working with you BEFORE asking for an appointment. They already knew that you were the person who could help them.
Now imagine if your website could do this for you! It can. And in this article, I’m going to show you easy ways to do just that.
Here are 4 website strategies to help you attract the perfect health coaching clients and eliminate the tire-kickers and time-wasters.
#1 – Branding: Clearly Identify Your Transformation in Your Content
The most important step to attracting your ideal client is to clearly offer them the transformation they desperately want. This is part of your branding.
Don’t hide what you do. Put it in large or colorful fonts, add pictures, and include your branding in all your website content: articles, headlines, and web copy.
For example, don’t just write that you help women lose weight. Tell them you’ll help them drop 2 dress sizes in 30 days or less, or that you’ll show them how to lose 50-100 pounds without dieting, or that they can look great in a bikini this summer and be the envy of their friends.
Here’s what to include on specific webpages:
Home Page – This is typically the landing page for your site. At the top of the page have text, images, and/or video that states clearly what you do and who your ideal client is.
For example, you can have the first line in your content say, “Attention women who want to reverse type-2 diabetes…” Or you could have the tag line “Helping Women Reverse Diabetes Naturally” in your header graphic.
Services Page – When describing your programs, focus on the results you deliver and who you like to work with. Let them know your preferred method or tools.
For instance, you might say “I help men and women eliminate anxiety and depression through holistic nutrition, not drugs.” Or “I can show you how to steadily lose 50 pounds or more without dieting. You’ll learn easy to implement lifestyle changes that bring permanent weight loss. And I’ll help you have fun doing it.”
About Page – Your ideal client will be attracted to – and identify with – your story. Let them know why you are passionate about what you do. For example, if you’re passionate about the benefits of eating a vegetarian diet, then people who are interested in that lifestyle will be drawn to you. At the same time, people who want to continue eating meat will not.
FAQ Page – Include a page with frequently asked questions about working with you. Your answers will let potential clients know who gets the best results when working with you and who doesn’t.
#2 – Copywriting
Copywriting is the art and science of creating word phrases and sentences in a way that motivates people to take action, especially in marketing.
To begin, ask yourself:
- What does your ideal client want most?
- Are they looking for a proven step-by-step system?
- Do they want to discover the secret to achieve something?
- Are they hoping to uncover a hidden obstacle?
Without compelling wording, potential clients won’t be inspired to take action. If you don’t know how to reword your content for marketing, look for templates or examples online that you can model or hire someone to do it for you.
#3 – Testimonials
Testimonials are a great way to build credibility. Like your About Page, it allows others to identify with what you do and the way you do it. So include testimonials from people who are your ideal client, and you will attract more just like them.
#4 – Your Free Offer & Other Gifts
This is one of my favorite ways to attract ideal clients and eliminate the people you don’t want to work with. When you offer a free gift on your site – whether it is a free checklist, report, e-book, e-course, audio, or video – write it specifically with your perfect client in mind.
Don’t try to be all things to all people. Think only of your ideal client and create your content for them. Then you will attract more people just like them.
For example, if your ideal client is a woman between 18 and 40 who wants to lose 10 to 30 pounds, then offer content specifically to them. Don’t try to explain how to lose 50 pounds or more, weight loss for men, or weight loss during menopause.
If you help men over 45 boost their vitality and self confidence, then address their specific concerns and issues. Give tips and strategies that apply to them but not necessarily men in their 20’s or general health for men.
Summary
Remember that branding is the most important. You need to clearly communicate the transformation you deliver and what sets you apart from every other holistic health practitioner.
Next, review your website content and evaluate if you are crystal clear on who you serve, what you do, and why you are passionate about it.
- Do your testimonials convey whom you like to work with?
- Is your free content written specifically for your ideal client?
- Is your web copy persuasive and compelling? Does it motivate your perfect client to take action?
Using any of the above four strategies will improve the quality of potential clients you attract with your website. Using all four together will help make you irresistible to your ideal client.
