How To Help More People

The sun streamed in through the flowing natural fiber curtains clinic in Boulder, Colorado.

The walls were filled with jars of Chinese and Western herbs, superfoods, and high end whole food supplements. The chewy sweet potency of goji berries mixed with the bitter brash cacao nibs in the mouths and minds of the practitioners. It was a magical mix of Naturopaths, Clinical Nutritionists, Bodyworkers, Chinese Medicine Doctors and Herbalists.

Not one of these healers woke up in the morning and said, “You know, I can’t wait to get up and make a ton of money today…” However, the wise Chinese Medicine Doc would frequently remind us that: “When you are greedy and are working for money, your health suffers, your relationships strain, your mind warps and your body constricts… but when you are poor and living in deprivation, your health suffers, your relationships strain, your mind warps and your body constricts.”

If you are still reading, maybe this struck a chord for you.

Money is not the purpose, but without a healthy flow of money, we suffer. And if we are living in deprivation, how can we truly fulfill our mission to our clients?

I am grateful that I had an abundant practice and that I made a living as a health coach, nutritionist and 4 Gateways Coach. And I am grateful that I have had so many mentors along the way to guide my steps.

I’d like you to have a successful practice too. In fact, that is my mission these days, to ensure that holistic health professionals are successful.

But what I have noticed is that there are two people in our industry. Hobbyists and Professionals.

Hobbyists:

  1. Show up when they feel “inspired”
  2. Change direction based on “passion”
  3. Work on their business part time
  4. Have something to fall back on

Professionals:

  1. Show up everyday
  2. Are dedicated to the long term
  3. Dedicates herself to getting better
  4. Have real risks and high stakes

You want to guess the one step all pros take to build a real business?

It is not getting business cards.
Not a website.
It isn’t posting on Facebook.

It is defining their NICHE.

If this has ever been confusing, disorienting, intimidating or just plain scary, don’t worry, you are not alone. In fact, if defining your niche doesn’t freak you out a little bit, I’d be concerned.

Surprisingly, most “business coaches” confound and confuse our industry more than clarify or contribute. That is because they are just sloshing around terms that they heard or learned from courses they took that have nothing to do with our industry. The approach is partial. But our industry is holistic. You need a holistic perspective on niche too!

Thankfully, we have been working with you for years, and have discovered a few insights that are unique to a proprietary system we’ve developed that will help you to:

  1. Connect your mission, passion, purpose and values to you business
  2. Make sure you are working for a profitable target market that can pay your full fees
  3. Work for clients / patients that will get tremendous benefit from you (so you feel fulfilled!)
  4. Speak a language that your ideal clients will understand
  5. Actually begin to make marketing fun, or least bearable for the majority of holistic health pros

This system, Niche Mapping(™) is only available through The Indestructible Success group.
